I have a Coastal Recreation 1977 Balboa 8.2 27’ tailorable sailboat for sale, with swing keel. I purchased this boat about a year ago as a project first boat. I have since purchased another boat so this one is up for sale.

6.2’ headroom 2.5’ draft with centerboard up
The diesel engine has been replaced with a 5Kw Thunderstuck kit from Thunderstruck-ev.com. The 48-volt system has 4 new batteries that are separate from the cabin lights and power. I did purchase a 48v to 12v inverter but never installed it.
When on shore power or hooked up to a generator it will charge both the 48v and 12v systems. There is an older Solar panel that I never replaced. It charges the 12v system completely in one day.
Trailer has new E rated tires.
3 head sails and one main sail. Head sails are in ok shape, but the Main sail has a few small holes that have been patched with sail tape.
Mast can be lowered and raised by one person but its quicker to have two.
It has a head with a holding tank of 3 gallons and uses lake water to flush. It has a macerator as well as a pump out.
Galley sink has been hooked up to a power pump.
“Cigarette plugs” are located in the Galley and next to the V-Birth/Head.
I have used this boat every weekend over the last year and it has been GREAT. This has been a very solid boat!
